This Shamrock 22 was a dealer demo for 2 years and was marked down to $36,500, a savings of $20,868 from the original price of $57,368. The boat had around 25 hrs on the engine when the current owner purchased her. She now has just over 100 hours. This boat has just been put in the water at our docks. With today's cost of fuel the inboard single screw engine is much more efficient than outboard(s). This boat has the larger Crusader 330hp engine which will cruise easily at 34 mph and burn only about 12.5 gallons per hour. But more importantly the ride is far superior to outboard boats as you can imagine with the weight of the engine in the middle of the boat way down low, compared to the end of the boat way up high. No hobby-horsing, these boats handle the chop with ease.
Whether the idea of fun is serious offshore fishing, water skiing and wake boarding, or simply enjoying a beachside picnic with the family, you'll find that Shamrocks are designed to meet your needs. With an inboard boat, the engine is mounted nearly in the center of the boat, not on the stern. It is also mounted in the bilge, lowering the boat's center of gravity which greatly enhances stability. That means you feel safer and more secure-especially in big rolling seas. An inboard boat is also the only design that offers a true full transom making it safer and easier to fish.
The 220 Open Fisher's helm console has full instrumentation, compass, and room to mount electronics.
The deep, spacious cockpit with full transom provides added security and has a large fish box and baitwell built in. |
